Since 2006, the African Water Facility has financed 138 projects in 52 African countries, improving access to water supply for 15.9 million people, and access to improved sanitation services for 9.3 million people. These projects have generated almost 2 billion euros in downstream investment. 

The Facility provides comprehensive information on all its projects to date. Based on the IATI data, information includes dataset such as the project title and ID, country, sector, task manager, financial information, results, and links to publicly disclosed documents. 

The Facility also showcases projects and resource flows for development at country level. It provides stakeholders and decision-makers at national and sub-national level with information to support decisions on resource allocations.
