The African Water Facility is the only African project preparation facility solely focused on addressing water and sanitation issues in Africa. As a special multilateral fund of the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW) that is hosted by the African Development Bank, it provides demand-driven financial and technical assistance to enable governments to invest in water and sanitation service delivery.
